CP3 passes Andre Miller for 9th on all-time assists list

Chris Paul climbed another rung on the career dimes ladder.
The Houston Rockets floor general recorded his 8,525th assist Saturday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, vaulting him past Andre "the Professor" Miller for ninth all time.
Paul's milestone helper came in the second quarter on a quick dish to P.J. Tucker, who promptly converted the 3-pointer.

He'll have his work cut out for him if he hopes to climb any higher, as Gary Payton is eighth on the list with 8,966 assists.
