Swansea City's kit man is set for a relatively effortless evening.

The in-form south Wales side announced Wednesday a club-record move for Andre Ayew from West Ham, with the Ghanaian joining younger brother Jordan at the Liberty Stadium on a three-and-a-half-year contract.

Andre Ayew, 28, left Swansea for the east London lot 18 months ago for £20.5 million, and though the club did not divulge the fee, it's above the previous record of £15.5 million tabled for Spaniard Borja Baston.

Reports suggest Swansea had an £18-million bid accepted for the player that could eventually rise to £20 million, with Ayew returning to the Liberty after bagging a dozen goals in 50 appearances for the Irons.

His arrival should help boost Carlos Carvalhal's attack, and for the time being, it's all coming up Swansea after consecutive victories over Liverpool and Arsenal saw the promotion favourite at least temporarily escape the drop zone.
