Surprise, surprise.

While the order in which the players were selected for the NBA All-Star draft wasn't revealed publicly, Kevin Durant isn't afraid to let everyone know he was the one picked first overall to join forces with captain LeBron James.

"What, we gonna keep that a mystery?" said Durant on Thursday, hours after the final rosters were announced, according to The Athletic's Anthony Slater.

Durant added that Stephen Curry (the second All-Star captain) put together a group text message with Golden State Warriors teammates Draymond Green and Klay Thompson to let everyone know of the rosters.

When asked whether Curry apologized for not taking him, the four-time scoring champion responded by saying Curry "had no control," implying that he was off the board with James' first pick before Curry could choose.

Durant even poked fun at himself being on James' side and not Curry's by posting a meme on Instagram mocking his infamous "Next Chapter" piece.

Joining James and Durant in the starting lineup will be Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins of the New Orleans Pelicans, and Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving. Curry went with Houston's James Harden, Toronto's DeMar DeRozan, Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Philadelphia's Joel Embiid to fill out his lineup.

The 2018 All-Star Game takes place on Feb. 18 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
