Watch: Warriors' Jordan Bell goes to locker room in wheelchair after injury

Jordan Bell got the starting nod for the defending champion Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night but left the game early due to a left ankle injury. He will not return to the game, according to the team.

The injury occurred when Chicago Bulls center Robin Lopez threw down a ferocious slam over Bell, grabbing his arm in the air and impeding his landing, causing the rookie to land awkwardly.

After the game, Bell told reporters that he felt a sharp pain and initially believed it was a break. He was relieved to find out it was a bad sprain instead. He will get an MRI on Thursday, according to the team.
