The San Francisco Giants finished the 2017 regular season tied for the worst record in all of baseball, but after their reported trade for outfielder Andrew McCutchen on Monday, things appear ready to change.

San Francisco's acquisition of the 2013 National League MVP comes a month after acquiring third baseman Evan Longoria from the Tampa Bay Rays. Both players should help solidify an offense that finished near the bottom of many offensive categories a year ago.

With McCutchen and Longoria added to a roster already including Buster Posey, Madison Bumgarner, and Brandon Crawford, have the Giants positioned themselves to contend in a tough NL West? Are they good enough to win their fourth World Series title since 2010?
