Tonya Evinger's UFC bantamweight debut will have to wait.

The former Invicta FC champ has pulled out of her Feb. 18 date with Marion Reneau at UFC Fight Night 126 in Austin with an undisclosed injury. FanSided's Amy Kaplan first reported the news Tuesday, with Evinger later confirming it on Twitter. She did not reveal the nature of the injury, but did deem it the most severe she'd ever sustained.

The UFC has not made any formal announcement regarding the development.

Evinger was to make her first walk to the Octagon at 135 pounds after fighting Cris Cyborg for the then-vacant featherweight crown in her short-notice promotional debut at UFC 214 in July. The third-round TKO loss snapped a 10-fight win streak including a reign as Invicta's bantamweight champ that saw her defend the strap twice.

Reneau's dismay at Evinger's withdrawal is of little surprise, having seen Germaine de Randamie pull out of her last bout at UFC Fight Night 115 mere days prior - also due to injury. She ended up facing newcomer Talita Bernardo and getting her hand raised by third-round TKO.

In the bill's welterweight main event, Donald Cerrone looks to snap a three-fight skid against Yancy Medeiros.
