Isaiah Thomas trolls 'league sources' with updated injury timeline
Good news, Cavaliers fans: Isaiah Thomas is reportedly set to finally make his on-court debut alongside LeBron James and Co. in early January.
But that updated prognosis didn't stop the two-time All-Star from poking a little fun at the media's reliance on unnamed "league sources" by releasing his own updated injury timeline:
Cavs Guard Isaiah Thomas is targeting the first week of April to make his debut, league sources tell IT!

I guess all you have to say is “ league Sources tell....” and your article or whatever is legit lol

Thomas has been recovering from a labral tear in his right hip suffered last season when he was a member the Boston Celtics. According to The Vertical's Shams Charania, Thomas could conceivably play immediately if he had to, but with the Cavs sitting on a comfortable 23-8 record, there has been little impetus to rush the diminutive superstar back to action ahead of schedule.
