Brandon Morrow had to wait until January to sign a contract ahead of the 2017 season, and it was of the minor-league variety. This time around, it appears the hard-throwing right-hander won't have the same problem.

The 33-year-old is already being pursued by many teams, according to John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle, who reports the San Francisco Giants could be interested.

Morrow fashioned a 2.06 ERA and a 10.3 strikeout per nine rate in 45 appearances for the Los Angeles Dodgers last season.

He was also impressive during most of the postseason, allowing just one earned run in seven games before the World Series. He did appear in all seven games of the World Series, but allowed eight hits and five earned runs in 5 1/3.

Morrow, who was born in Santa Rosa, Calif., and went to the University of California, told MLB Network on Nov. 9 he'd like to re-sign with the Dodgers.

During his 11-year career, Morrow owns a 51-43 record with a 4.05 ERA and 846 strikeouts across 299 appearances, 113 of which have been starts.
