Rickie Fowler doesn't think it'll take Tiger Woods long to play himself into contention if his back holds up.

Fowler, who's making his 2017-18 PGA Tour debut this week at the OHL Classic, was asked about Woods' progress in the lead-up to his return at the Hero World Challenge in late November.

"He's healthy, he's doing well. I'm really looking forward to seeing him back in action in a couple weeks' time in the Bahamas," the world No. 10 told reporters in Mexico.

"I know he's excited. We're all excited to potentially have him back healthy and playing golf. One step at a time. We want to have him healthy more so than just out playing golf. If he can come out, be healthy, have some fun, if so, I wouldn't be surprised if we see him right back in contention."

Both Fowler and Woods live in Jupiter, Fla., and are members at nearby Medalist Golf Club, along with Justin Thomas and Brooks Koepka.
