Amiens escapes punishment for barrier collapse vs. Lille
Ligue 1 debutant Amiens will not be sanctioned after several fans were injured when a barrier collapsed during a match against Lille in September.
France's Ligue de Football Professionel (LFP) announced Friday with a statement on its website that the club will not be penalised for the incident at the Stade de la Licorne that saw the match abandoned.
The LFP's statement added that the match will be replayed on Nov. 20.

Les Dogues' Fode Ballo-Toure had just bagged Lille's 15th-minute opener when the defender ran towards the away supporters to celebrate. The fence then gave way as fans tumbled onto the pitch.
An Amiens hospital later confirmed that 29 people were injured in the incident.
