The Seattle Seahawks earned a thrilling victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon, but the win may have come at a cost as safety Earl Thomas was forced from the game in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury.
Thomas was replaced on the field by Bradley McDougald after appearing to injure himself on a Texans 72-yard touchdown from Deshaun Watson to DeAndre Hopkins. Thomas was kept out for the remainder of the contest, and is set to undergo an MRI on his hamstring, according to Josina Anderson of ESPN.
An extended absence from Thomas will certainly affect the Seahawks going forward, and Pro Football Talk reported that Thomas is hoping to not miss any time because of the injury.
