New sport, same Michael Page.
The Bellator welterweight looked every bit his old self in his professional boxing debut on Friday, stopping Spain's Jonathan Castano with a blistering straight right for a third-round TKO in his native London.
Despite beating the 10-count, Castano was deemed unfit to fight on, thereby anointing Page the winner.
The 30-year-old hasn't seen the inside of the Bellator cage since edging Fernando Gonzalez by split decision last November, although president Scott Coker told Telegraph's Gareth A. Davies on Friday he'd aimed to book Page on the outfit's December trip to Newcastle if he left the ring unscathed.
In addition to holding up his end, the Londoner dropped Castano's record to 2-12-1.
