Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford has been ruled out for a third consecutive game, head coach Mike Zimmer announced Thursday.

Bradford continues to recover from a knee injury.

Backup Case Keenum will receive a third straight start Sunday against the Detroit Lions. He has completed 45-of-70 pass attempts in his two starts, passing for 536 yards and three touchdowns without an interception.

Zimmer said Bradford is "feeling better, just not ready to play," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
