Watch: Penn State avoids upset with last-second TD vs. Iowa

Reese Strickland-USA TODAY Sports

The 7-yard pass from Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley to wide receiver Juwan Johnson on the final play of the game pulled the No. 4 team in the nation back from a four-point deficit to top Iowa 21-19.

Iowa had gone up 19-15 on the previous drive, using a 35-yard rushing score from running back Akrum Wadley to move to the brink of the upset, but the Nittany Lions responded with a 12-play, 65-yard drive in the final minute and 42 seconds for the game-winning score.
