Chargers sticking with struggling kicker Koo

Orlando Ramirez-USA TODAY Sports

The start to Younghoe Koo's career can't get much worse.

The Los Angeles Chargers kicker is 1-for-4 on field goals and has missed makeable kicks in the dying seconds of each of his first two games, costing the team a pair of potential victories. Despite his struggles, though, Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn is sticking with Koo and won't be bringing in competition this week.

"We're still riding with him," Lynn said, according to Eric D. Williams of ESPN. "And we're hoping that he'll bounce back."

The rookie made headlines when he beat out Josh Lambo in training camp for the Chargers' kicking job and a viral video surfaced of one of his trick kicks.

Koo will get a chance to rebound Sunday when the Chargers take on the Kansas City Chiefs.
