Seahawks' Lane ejected for throwing punch vs. Packers
Jody Gomez / USA TODAY Sports
Jeremy Lane's season opener is over shortly after it started, as the Seattle Seahawks cornerback was ejected for throwing a punch early in the first quarter versus the Green Bay Packers.
Lane was flagged for the foul during Nazair Jones' return of an Aaron Rodgers interception, engaging in a shoving match with Davante Adams.
It's a big loss for the Seahawks, who will need all the defensive weapons they can muster against the Packers' high-powered passing attack.
