Mike Dudek's comeback is official.

After missing the last two seasons with two separate knee injuries, the Illinois wide receiver made his return to the field Saturday against Ball State.

Dudek tore is ACL in 2015 during spring practice, forcing him to miss the entire season. One year later, he suffered the same injury in a non-contact drill, leaving him on the sidelines for the 2016 campaign.

The junior caught 76 balls for 1038 yards and six touchdowns in 2014, and he picked up right where he left off versus the Cardinals Saturday. On the second series of the game for Illinois, Dudek hauled in a 16-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Chayce Crouch for the first score of the game.
