Records show Freeze dialed 'at least 12 numbers' tied to escort services

A review of former Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze's phone records has revealed that he dialed at least 12 different numbers associated with online advertisements for female escorts dating back to 2014, according to Kyle Bonagura of ESPN.

The preliminary review was conducted by ESPN, and the details of the results reveal that the series of calls took place over a 33-month period beginning in April of 2014. The records were obtained by ESPN through an open records request.

Ole Miss attorney Robert T. Jolly responded to the request made by ESPN by saying that only business related calls would be considered public.

"Any personal calls having no relation to UM business are not public records," Jolly wrote. "Personal calls will be clearly marked and redacted from the documents released."

Ole Miss chancellor Jeffrey Vitter stated during the press conference announcing Freeze's resignation that he and athletic director Ross Bjork had determined "a pattern of personal misconduct inconsistent with the standards we expect from the leader of our football team."
