Jon Jones' most recent failed drug test sent shock waves through the world of combat sports. And, two days later, experts and fans alike are still trying to figure out why one of the most talented fighters ever was caught cheating for a second time.

Count Dana White as one of those people.

"I don't know, only he can answer that question, it's horrible," White said on Undisputed on Thursday. "It's crazy, but, the thing that's sad is, when you start saying 'Should we question everything Jon’s ever done?' He's the best to ever do it, he didn't need those drugs.

"Jon Jones is one of the most gifted fighters I've ever met, maybe the most gifted fighter I've ever met."

While Jones' legacy in the MMA will now no doubt be questioned, White can only imagine how much the three-time light heavyweight champion could have accomplished.

"What's crazy is, all the time that Jon Jones has sat out, I've said, 'what could have been, what could he have accomplished by now, where would he be?'" said White.

"Some guys can't help themselves, they can't get out of their own way and he's definitely that guy."
