The Miami Heat have signed power forward Jordan Mickey to a two-year minimum contract, sources told The Vertical's Shams Charania.

The deal is guaranteed for $1.5 million this season, with a team option for the same amount in 2018-19, Charania reports.

Mickey was drafted 33rd overall by the Boston Celtics out of LSU in 2015, but never managed to carve out much of a role in Boston, spending most of his time with the team's D-League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws. He played fewer than 200 minutes with the NBA club, averaging 1.4 points and 1.1 rebounds across 41 games.
