Andrew Wiggins doesn't appear to be as marketable as he was once thought to be.

With the 22-year-old struggling to launch himself into superstardom, Adidas is wary of giving the Minnesota Timberwolves swingman his own signature shoe, ESPN's Nick DePaula reports.

Instead, Adidas would reportedly prefer to steal Milwaukee Bucks phenom Giannis Antetokounmpo from Nike when his current endorsement deal expires this fall, and use him as its most marketable young star.

Wiggins signed a lucrative contract shortly after he was chosen by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the No. 1 selection in the 2014 draft.

The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 23.6 points, four rebounds, 2.3 assists, and a steal on 45.2 percent shooting for the Timberwolves this past season.
