Despite Kevin Kisner holding the lead for the third straight day, it's Hideki Matsuyama who's the betting favorite to win the PGA Championship on Sunday.
The Japanese star entered Saturday's third round tied with Kisner for the lead, but faded back a stroke with a 2-over 73. Kisner bettered him by one to hold the narrow advantage heading into the final 18 holes, but sits at 3-1 to win the trophy, just behind Matsuyama at 3-2, in the latest odds from Jeff Sherman of Golfodds.com and the Westgate Superbook.
Justin Thomas' 69 was one of the best rounds of the day, and saw him vault into a fourth-place tie with Louis Oosthuizen. It also moved Thomas' odds to 9-2 - third on the betting board ahead of the South African, who sits at 13-2.
Journeyman pro Chris Stroud sits tied with Matsuyama, but is paying 10-1 to win his first major, while Grayson Murray, Patrick Reed, and Rickie Fowler are all 40-1 to come from behind and claim victory.
