The Phoenix Suns appear ready to part with a number of assets to land their point guard of the future.

While the team remains unwilling to trade No. 4 overall pick Josh Jackson, the Suns are prepared to include Eric Bledsoe, Dragan Bender, and a first-round selection in a deal for Kyrie Irving, reports Darren Wolfson of ESPN 1500.

Bledsoe has been connected to the Cavaliers for some time, as the 27-year-old point guard shares a close relationship with LeBron James. The four-time MVP attended Bledsoe's wedding in 2014, and was spotted working out with the Kentucky product in Las Vegas last month.

Reports surfaced last week that a deal would "be done by now" if Phoenix was willing to part with Jackson, Bledsoe, and a 2018 first-round pick.

The Suns aren't the only team that has interest in Irving, as roughly 20 teams have reportedly inquired about the four-time All-Star.
