Report: LeBron, Bledsoe working out in Vegas; Rose to join
Cue the Eric Bledsoe-to-Cleveland rumors.
Amid speculation that Phoenix is a "strong candidate" to land Kyrie Irving, the Suns guard is among several players working out with LeBron James in Las Vegas, sources told ESPN's Chris Haynes.
Derrick Rose is also expected to join the pair later this week after officially inking a one-year deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, according to Haynes.
While it's easy to jump to conclusions, Bledsoe and James share the same agent and have been good friends for years.
With Cleveland reportedly seeking a "blue-chip young player" in return for Irving, Bledsoe would figure to be a good fit for the Cavaliers, who would likely be seeking a ball-handler in exchange for their four-time All-Star guard.
The 6-foot-1 Bledsoe averaged 21.1 points, 6.3 assists, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.4 steals in 66 games for the Suns in 2016-17 before he was shut down for the season in March.
