Report: Brewers have shown interest in Mets' Granderson

The Brew Crew may have their eye on The Grandy Man.

According to sources of FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, the Milwaukee Brewers have reportedly shown an interest in swinging a deal with the New York Mets for outfielder Curtis Granderson.

Rosenthal adds talks between the two clubs have yet to advance, however.

A three-time All-Star, Granderson has played the last eight seasons in New York, splitting time with the Yankees (2010-13) and the Mets (2014-17) after playing six seasons with the Detroit Tigers. Granderson has fallen out of favor slightly with the Mets in recent weeks, though, sliding down the depth chart beneath fellow outfielders Michael Conforto and Jay Bruce.

Granderson, who's in the final year of a four-year, $60-million contract, is slashing .223/.325/.450 in 93 games for the Mets this season.
