Leonardo Bonucci took a tour of AC Milan's headquarters and greeted euphoric supporters on Friday to finalise a shocking β¬40-million move from direct rival Juventus.
The 30-year-old, who spent the past seven seasons with the Old Lady, signed a five-year contract with the Rossoneri worth β¬6.5 million a season, according to Sky Sport Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio. He is expected to replace Riccardo Montolivo as Milan's new captain.
Although the club has yet to officially announce the signing, it is now just a formality.
Bonucci arrived at Casa Milan to hundreds of fans, who have been galvanised by the club's string of summer signings.

The Italian international is set to become Milan's eighth major acquisition in a transformative summer window.
Argentinian international Lucas Biglia is also scheduled to undergo a medical following the completion of his transfer from Lazio.
The San Siro outfit, bankrolled by new Chinese owners Yonghong Li and David Han Li, has invested more than β¬150 million in new players over the past couple of months.
Bonucci is the latest to cross the Milan-Turin divide, joining the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Roberto Baggio, and Christian Vieri in an exclusive class of players who've represented Milan, Juventus, and Inter.
