The on-again off-again fight is, well, on again.

UFC president Dana White announced Saturday at the UFC 214 postfight press conference that Georges St-Pierre is once again set to fight Michael Bisping.

"I know Michael Bisping will show up and fight," he said.

White's confirmation, seemingly in response to his disappointment with Tyron Woodley's performance Saturday, comes just weeks after White declared that the "ship has sailed" for a St-Pierre-Bisping matchup.

As he explained Saturday, those things can change.

"That ship turned around and fucking sailed back," White said with a smile.

White also explained that Bisping's logical next challenger - interim champion Robert Whittaker - is dealing with a knee injury. He'll have the opportunity to take on the winner of the GSP-Bisping bout.

St-Pierre, one of the biggest stars in UFC history, has been away from the Octagon since vacating his long-held welterweight title in 2013.

Returning against Bisping immediately gives the Montreal native a middleweight title shot. Bisping earned his belt with a knockout win over Luke Rockhold at UFC 199, and his lone defense was a unanimous decision victory over Dan Henderson at UFC 204.
