Cerrone clarifies UFC 213 withdrawal due to blood infection, not injury

It took some bad blood for Donald Cerrone to consider withdrawing from a fight.
Following a report on Wednesday that an injury had knocked him out of his UFC 213 welterweight clash with Robbie Lawler, "Cowboy" took to Instagram to clarify that it is actually a blood infection that forced him out and that he expects the fight to be rescheduled:
Early rumors have the July 8 bout being moved to UFC 214 on July 29, which is in line with Cerrone's own optimistic prognosis. Should that change become official, it will be the third time that Cerrone and Lawler have been linked to a fight, including a November encounter at UFC 205 that stalled at the negotiations phase when Lawler decided to take time off from competition.
