Matt Ryan fans angry over his No. 10 rank on NFL's top 100 list
The reigning NFL MVP just barely cracked the top 10 players in the league last season, according to NFL Network's annual Top 100 list.
Matt Ryan was announced as the 10th overall player on the list, behind quarterbacks Tom Brady (1) and Aaron Rodgers (6), and even behind his teammate, Julio Jones (3).

A year ago, Cam Newton ranked first on the Top 100 following an MVP season that finished with a Super Bowl loss. Ryan's 2016 season mirrored Newton's 2015, though an argument can be made that Ryan's numbers were even more impressive.
Unsurprisingly, Falcons fans (and the team itself) weren't too pleased with Ryan's ranking:

🤔
The MVP should be way higher than #10. This list is a joke. #ZeusToAthens
