Markelle Fultz's planned workout for the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday is designed to pave the way for finalizing a trade with the Boston Celtics for the No. 1 pick in next week's draft, sources told The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Discussions regarding the already-rumored deal have centered on Philadelphia sending its No. 3 pick back to Boston in return, and potentially a 2021 protected first-rounder, reports Wojnarowski.

The long-predicted order of Fultz going No. 1 to the Celtics and Lonzo Ball going No. 2 to the Lakers in this draft has been turned on its ear in the last few days, with discussions between Boston and Philly and reports the Lakers are down on Ball.

The Lakers meanwhile, are apparently high on Fultz now, too.

Fultz is expected in Philadelphia for the workout Saturday afternoon in what appeared to be an impromptu visit. The 19-year-old wasn't listed as one of the prospects Philly expected to host this weekend.
