Bryant attempts to recruit Revis to Cowboys via Twitter

Dez Bryant is doing what he can to make the Dallas Cowboys better.

The veteran pass-catcher took to Twitter on Saturday to try and pull free-agent cornerback Darrelle Revis to Dallas.

Revis was briefly linked to the New England Patriots, but nothing came of it and no other teams have reached out since he was released by the New York Jets this offseason, and he may have a difficult time convincing the Cowboys' front office that he's worth a contract.

Unless he receives over $6 million from a new team, Revis will be paid that amount in 2017 from his former contract with the Jets, so he likely won't accept a bargain deal.

Revis' play in 2016 drastically dropped off and the Cowboys already have veterans Orlando Scandrick and Nolan Carroll, 2016 rookie Anthony Brown, and 2017 draft picks Chidobe Awuzie and Jourdan Lewis on the roster at cornerback.
