TFC's Tosaint Ricketts ruled out 3-4 weeks with hamstring strain

Toronto FC will be without Tosaint Ricketts for up to a month after the 29-year-old was diagnosed with a hamstring strain.

The injury will also keep Ricketts out of Canada's upcoming friendly against Curacao on June 13.

The Major League Soccer side said Ricketts will be sidelined for three-to-four weeks after suffering the knock last week during TFC's 4-1 triumph over the Ottawa Fury in the Canadian Championship semi-finals.

The timetable for his return could see Ricketts miss four matches before taking the pitch against Orlando City on July 5.

His loss comes at somewhat of a fortunate time, as TFC doesn't play again until June 17 when D.C. United travels to BMO Field.

Ricketts scored three goals in 12 MLS matches before going down with the injury.
