After capturing the national championship on the football field in January, Clemson is now taking on NASCAR, as the school will partner with the No. 51 car of Rick Ware Racing for both the Pocono 400 next weekend and the Bojangles Southern 500 later in the year.

"We're appreciative of Rick Ware Racing offering this opportunity for tremendous exposure of our national championship mark during the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series," Clemson's athletic director Dan Radakovich said in a statement. "We look forward to seeing this great design on the track at Pocono and Darlington."

The car will feature the Tigers' "2016 National Champions" logo on the hood, with the school's name and logo scattered across the rest of the car.

Clemson won't be the only program getting some love from Rick Ware Racing, as East Carolina's logo is adorning the No. 51 car this weekend at the Dover International Speedway.
