Oubre: Olynyk's hit me in the head 'multiple times'

Washington Wizards guard Kelly Oubre may have to start wearing a helmet if his team's second-round series against the Boston Celtics continues the way he says it's started.

"I've been hit in the head multiple times by the same person," Oubre told reporters after practice Friday, according to ESPN's Chris Forsberg. "I've confronted (Kelly Olynyk) about it. The last time it happened, I fell, I felt pain in my head and my jaw, and I got up and I ran to him and I bumped him."

The Celtics big man steamrolled Oubre during Washington's Game 3 victory over Boston on Thursday with an illegal screen in which his right elbow went high. Oubre responded by getting to his feet and lunging at the unsuspecting Olynyk with a giant shove, sending him to the hardwood.

Oubre was assessed a flagrant-2 foul and ejected from the contest for what the referee judged as "excessive and unnecessary" contact, and will reportedly be suspended for Sunday's Game 4.

Wizards head coach Scott Brooks said he wished Oubre had controlled his emotions better, but added that he'd seen his player hit in the head several times in the series, so didn't necessarily blame Oubre for the reaction.
