Look: Stroman writes heartfelt tribute to mom on Mother's Day cleats

There's still one day to go until Mother's Day, but Marcus Stroman made sure his mom got an early present.
Stroman took the mound for the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday decked out in pink for Mother's Day weekend, and he included a special message to his mom, Adlin Auffant, on his celebratory pink cleats.

The 26-year-old Stroman has always been open about his close relationship with his mother. Last month, Stroman surprised Auffant with a brand new car because, as he wrote on Instagram, "she deserves it." Their relationship was also displayed in 2013, when Stroman - then a top prospect still nearly a year away from his big-league debut - surprised his mom by paying off her mortgage.
Stroman threw six innings of two-run baseball while striking out nine in Toronto's 7-2 win over Seattle.
