The "Playoff Implications, Part 1" Lineup
POS | NAME | OPP | FPPG | SALARY |
---|---|---|---|---|
PG | Chris Paul (LAC) | vs. DAL | 40.4 | 76K |
SG | Rodney McGruder (MIA) | at CHA | 14.3 | 31K |
SF | James Johnson (MIA) | at CHA | 26.0 | 60K |
PF | Blake Griffin (LAC) | vs. DAL | 39.5 | 73K |
C | Al Horford (BOS) | vs. CLE | 33.0 | 58K |
Each of the the teams featured in this lineup could stand to gain a lot with a victory tonight -- the Clippers would pull even with the Utah Jazz, the Heat would bolster their playoff hopes, and the Celtics would dethrone the Cavaliers. Paul and Griffin make for a very safe duo while Horford and Johnson's versatile athleticism provides a high fantasy ceiling. McGruder is a wild card.

The "Playoff Implications, Part 2" Lineup
POS | NAME | OPP | FPPG | SALARY |
---|---|---|---|---|
PG | Isaiah Thomas (BOS) | vs. CLE | 42.2 | 77K |
SG | Jonathon Simmons (SA) | vs. LAL | 12.0 | 35K |
SF | LeBron James (CLE) | at BOS | 50.0 | 91K |
PF | Kevin Love (CLE) | at BOS | 36.9 | 69K |
C | Mason Plumlee (DEN) | at HOU | 27.2 | 27K |
The Cavaliers are 50-27 with five games left. The Celtics are 50-27 with five games left. Expect the stars to be out in full force to try and break the tie atop the Eastern Conference. Thomas, James and Love will push each other to higher heights. It wouldn't be a complete shock to see them combine for 90-plus points, never mind all of the assists, rebounds and 3s
