Wife of Braves' Rodriguez suffered broken leg in deadly crash
The wife of Atlanta Braves utility man Sean Rodriguez gave an update on her family's status from the hospital Monday, two days after they were involved in a fatal car accident that resulted in the death of an unidentified suspect that had stolen a police cruiser.
Giselle Rodriguez said their son Sean Jr. - nicknamed "GoGo" - is still in the hospital with minor injuries, while she suffered a broken leg and will need to undergo surgery.
Thank you all for prayers! Please Please continue to pray for us! Gogo is still in the hospital with thankfully only stitches and a cast.

I'm in the hospital with a broken femur & tibia. I'm going into surgery for my wrist tomorrow. We are so grateful to be alive!

Rodriguez, his wife, and two children were reportedly driving in their SUV in Florida on Saturday afternoon when they were T-boned by a stolen Miami police cruiser.
The 31-year-old Rodriguez, who agreed to a two-year, $11.5-million deal with the Braves in November, was not injured in the crash.
