Devils' Steve Santini: Called up from minors

Santini was brought up from AHL Albany on Monday.

Analysis:

Santini could be the odd man out for Tuesday's matchup with the Red Wings considering the Devils promoted two other defensemen Santini has taken advantage of his limited opportunities by registering five points in 13 NHL outings. The 21-year-old will likely be competing with Karl Stollery for the final lineup spot Tuesday.
