Charles O'Bannon Jr. is heading to his father's rival school, with the four-star small forward committing to USC on Monday.
"I felt really comfortable on campus, and it's close to home," O'Bannon told Paul Biancardi of ESPN. "I like the environment, and I feel like I belong there. It feels like home."
O'Bannon's father Charles and uncle Ed both played at UCLA, winning the NCAA national title in 1995 with the Bruins.
"They want what's best for me and my future," O'Bannon said. "They totally support me going to USC."
The Las Vegas native chose the Trojans over offers from NC State, Kansas, Oregon, and UCLA, among others.
O'Bannon is rated No. 6 for his position in the nation and is the 34th top prospect in the 2017 class.
