The Juventus striker, 16, made history in Saturday's match against Pescara, coming on as a second-half substitute and thus becoming the first player born in this millennium to appear in Italy's top flight.

Kean, yet to sign a professional contract with the club - though the Bianconeri brass remains confident a deal will come to fruition - has seen his stock skyrocket in recent months.

The teenager, born in Vercelli to Ivorian parents, has risen quickly through the club's ranks after dominating at various youth levels, and after earning a spot on the bench for several recent matches, was finally given his debut.
