Schweinsteiger sets German record with 15th cap at Euros

Move over, Philipp Lahm.
The retired German captain saw his record of 14 European Championship caps surpassed Tuesday when ageing midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger made an appearance off the bench in a 1-0 win over Northern Ireland.

Schweinsteiger, who struggled through an injury-plagued season in 2015-16 with Manchester United, will be hoping his record sits at 19 matches by the time Germany's campaign in France comes to an end.
