Magic says Prince 'talked so much trash' playing basketball

One of the greatest stories about Prince was the time he and the Revolution destroyed Charlie Murphy in a game of pickup basketball, as detailed in a hilarious sketch on "Chappelle's Show."

Samuel L. Jackson confirmed the story Monday on Instagram, but, according to Magic Johnson, Prince wasn't as good of a basketball player as legend would have you believe.

"He talked so much trash, he thought he had a real jump shot," Johnson said during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Thursday. "I had to remember that it was Prince I was playing against, so I had to back off."

Johnson also told Kimmel that Prince once showed up at his movie theater at 2 a.m. with a busload of people in pajamas.
