Blaine Sumner put on quite the show at the 2016 Arnold Classic in Columbus Friday, breaking six IPF world records, including a ridiculous 1,102-pound squat.
Sumner, who's nickname is "The Vanilla Gorilla," said the squat "nearly killed" him.
"As soon as I started my descent it started to whip back and forth on me really bad and I kind of stalled a quarter of the way down because I was losing my balance," he said, according to FOX Sports. "Re-caught my balance and really sunk it down there, and as soon as I reversed it continued whipping back and forth on me really bad. The scary thing is, at that point, it's not a matter of trying to squat the weight up, it's a matter of trying to keep your balance and not die."
