St. Cloud State is off to the Frozen Four.
The Huskies defeated Boston College 4-1 on Sunday to advance to the NCAA men's hockey tournament semifinals, where they'll take on Minnesota State.
Minnesota Wild first-rounder Matthew Boldy opened the scoring for BC, but St. Cloud State responded with four unanswered goals. Nick Perbix led the way offensively for the Huskies, picking up a pair of assists. Luke Jaycox, Will Hammer, Nolan Walker, and Micah Miller all found twine.
David Hrenak was lights out between the pipes, stopping 26 of 27 shots.
This marks the second trip to the men's Frozen Four in St. Cloud State history.
