Report: Tennessee football self-reports 4 NCAA violations

The University of Tennessee's athletics department has self-reported 18 NCAA violations committed from May 2015 to January 2016, with the football team accounting for four of them.
All of the infractions are considered Level III, meaning they are isolated incidents that are limited in nature. They are also deemed not to have given a recruiting, competitive or other advantage.
The university self-imposed the penalties and the NCAA accepted them, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel's Dustin Dopirak.
According to the report, the Vols football team was involved in recruiting violations. One of them resulted in secondary coach Willie Martinez's one-game suspension.
