Rutgers fan attempts to crowdfund coach Kyle Flood's buyout

It's been an ugly season for Rutgers and Kyle Flood, and the team's dismal 3-6 record has led to a faction of fans calling for the coach's job.

Flood, who was suspended earlier this season for three games due to inappropriate contact with a faculty member, has a $1.5-million buyout clause in his contract, and one Scarlet Knights fan has started a GoFundMe.com campaign to pay that fee.

Rutgers has posted a 26-22 record under Flood's watch, with an 8-5 mark in 2014 prior to this season's struggles.

The university has said they won't accept any of the funds raised by the campaign.
