Auburn QB Sean White injured, Jeremy Johnson to start vs. Texas A&M
Shanna Lockwood-USA TODAY Sports
Auburn will start backup quarterback Jeremy Johnson in Saturday's game against Texas A&M, replacing the injured Sean White, coach Gus Malzahn announced prior to kickoff.
Johnson began the season as the starting quarterback for the Tigers, but was benched after a Week 3 loss to LSU. White has started every game since, but was unable to practice all week with a knee injury, and will be the third man at the position for the game against the Aggies.
Jonathan Wallace will backup Johnson, with White available only in an emergency situation.
