UCLA walk-on punter Adam Searl was arrested late Thursday afternoon on suspicion of sexual assault, prompting his indefinite suspension from the program.
Searl's arrest was on three counts of suspicion of rape. He was later released on $300,000 bail, according to KTLA's Melissa Palmer.
The school said it is aware of the situation and will handle it as need-be.
"We have been informed of the situation involving Adam Searl, and we take these accusations very seriously," head coach Jim Mora said. "Adam has been suspended from the team indefinitely while the legal process runs its course."
The redshirt sophomore saw his first game action in 2014, where he had 11 punts.
