Athletic directors from TCU and Baylor have released a joint statement on the on-campus vandalism tied to the rivalry between the football programs.
On Thursday, vandalism occurred on the Baylor campus when some TCU fans dressed the statue honoring former Bear Robert Griffin III in purple paint, the Horned Frogs' color.
In response, a Baylor fan spray painted the score of last year's game between both schools on a wall at the TCU campus.
The vandalism prompted Baylor's Ian McCaw and TCU's Chris Del Conte to address the situation before it got out of hand.
