Report: Oregon State's Deltron Sands out for the remainder of the season

Oregon State running back Deltron Sands (undisclosed) is out for the remainder of the season, Gina Mizell of The Oregonian reports.

Analysis:

Sands, a true freshman, was ruled out for the season ahead of Oregon State's upcoming game against Arizona. He had 23 yards on six carries before suffering the injury, and because of the early timing in the season, he will be able to apply for a medical redshirt.
